Advanced tickets are not available. In most cases you are able to get right into the museum upon arrival. However sometimes on weekends in Oct there could be a short wait once you arrive.

BALTIMORE

The city of Baltimore, being the birthplace of the Ouija board, needed a home to share its strange, eerie, and fascinating history. Discover the tale behind Elijah Bond’s Ouija headstone at Greenmount Cemetery, and how a plaque inside the 7-Eleven on North Charles Street came to mark the board’s birthplace. Learn about how Helen Peters, known as “the Mother of the Ouija Board” - a woman who played an integral role in the legacy and lore of the board, was erased from history and only recently rediscovered. The Ouija board has inspired films, music… even murder. Come explore the truth behind its mysterious origins.

ABOUT US

The Salem Witch Board Museum is owned and operated by John Kozik, a founding member of the Talking Board Historical Society​. Working with the other members, they seek to preserve and uncover the history surrounding the talking board. The items contained in the museum are from his personal collection or donated to the museum for display and educational purposes. John is available for speaking engagements on the wonders and historic impacts of the Ouija board and talking boards.​
